Welcome to the dark side: soldering

I was surprised to hear another guitar geek tell me that the one thing that stops him from tweaking his guitar is the thought of using a soldering iron.

Really???  Does it turn into Darth Vader's light saber and suck you into the dark side of the force???
[that might be kind of cool now that I think about it]
